Path of Asahiyaki
Nuit Blanche Kyoto, 2025
[Path of Asahiyaki] was a work inspired by the workshop of the Asahiyaki kiln, using light, sounds and sculptures to channel the energies of the workshop into our practice of tea.
Under the throbbing light, oscillating to the sounds of the workshop of Asahiyaki, Harry Lee World and I danced and made tea together, interweaving our arts with the local sounds of the Asahiyaki potter's workshop.

A Welcoming Sacredness
Maastricht Academy of Architecture, 2016-today
Every year since 2016, the Master of Interior Design of the Maastricht Academy of Architecture invites me for 3 days of performances, lectures and ceramic classes.
A Welcoming Sacredness is a performance inspired by the Japanese tea ceremony that advocates for an art that is focused on hospitality. Hospitality towards the guests, towards the moment, towards the self.
In a minimalist environment I have designed to welcome the students, I take them on a journey of quiet reflection and introspection.
On Three Desires
TESA Art Residency, Taiwan, 2025
Throughout my residency at TESA, I followed three desires : spontaneity/nature, dance/sensuality and grace/elegance
But I realized that all of these works were also about control and care.
When is love hurtful and manipulative?
When is it a true gift?
Even if in the mind of the giver, there are only good intentions, they might end up constricting the loved one.
